Resumen

Main goal: Assess differences between nursing educational programs, regarding stressors affecting students during their clinical practices. Methodology: Descriptive-comparative design in a 266 participants sample on two educational programs: Baccalaureate and Undergraduate of Nursing. KEZKAK questionnaire was applied and differences between educational programs were analyzed. Main results: Perceived stressors during nursing students’ clinical practices differ among educational programs; with differences regarding "patient seeks an intimate relationship" subscale. Main stressors were "doing my job wrong and damaging the patient”, “that my responsibility in patient’s care is important" and "having to be with a terminal patient. Main conclusions: Undergraduate students have higher stress values than those in Baccalaureate school. This justifies the need to include at the curricular level specific stress management strategies.
