Resumen

Objetivo; El presente trabajo propone la percepción del sentido de vida y autoestima de los artemarcialista de muay thai de la ciudad de Veracruz. Método; la muestra intencional estuvo compuesta por 5 hombres y 1 mujer, con edad promedio de 25.83 años. Resultados; Mediante la aplicación de las entrevista semi- estructurada, los sujetos dicen que encuentran en el sistema de creencias que proviene del arte marcial, el medio para poder engrandecerse como seres humanos y llenarse de valores éticos y morales. Las pruebas psicométricas como el Logo test, donde los resultados son 4 sujetos existencialmente seguros y 2 tiene estabilidad psíquica y el Inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith versión adultos, en cuanto a la categoría “de la autoestima general” 5 sujetos son de autoestima alto y 1 de autoestima medio alto, promueven la veracidad de las respuestas dadas en la entrevista. Conclusión; Los resultados permiten obtener la primera aproximación general del sentido de vida y autoestima, de la población que entrena el arte marcial del muay thai en la república Mexicana. ABSTRACT Goal; This paper proposes the perception of the meaning of life and self-esteem of muay thai martial artist from the city of Veracruz.Method; the intentional sample consisted of 5 men and 1 woman, with an average age of 25.83 years.Results; By applying the semi-structured interview subjects say they find in the belief system that comes from the martial art, the way to aggrandize as human beings and filled with ethical and moral values.The psychometric tests like “the Logo test” where 4 subjects are existentially safe and 2 has psychic stability and Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory adult version, when it comes to the category "general self-esteem" 5 subjects are high self-esteem and 1 self-esteem medium high, promote accuracy of the answers in the interview. Conclusion; The results offer the first comprehensive approach to the meaning of life and self-esteem of the population who trains the martial art of muay thai in Mexico.
